今時不同往日
Today is not the same as yesterday....China had totally transformed from a poor backward country 75 years ago into the present modern powerful nation of today.
Much credit should be given to the older generations who had made huge sacrifices and work hard to achieve the success of today.
They were not deterred by their initial failures and had persevere, knowing that

万事起头难
(Things are always difficult to initiate, perseverance will succeed).
However, do not be complacent.

Everyday their mainstream media keeps bashing China, criticize and bad mouthing China, reporting propaganda, fake news about negative news about China.
