The fact is - what do you say when you look like you might lose your seat at the next general federal election. Is talk about policies - you have no control over. The issue being the tax act - is an overly complicated piece of legislation. And a former tax commissioner said - the ordinary working person - should not have to complete - a complicated tax return. The plan was was income to around 22% and drop all deductions and offer - a set refund - for each income bracket. And if you want to stimulate spending - you drop the tax rates. And the tax they wont drop is - company tax. Company tax is another one of those areas - you would take a decade to unravel and understand. What no-one will do - is simplify the tax laws. Drop company down - to a lower rate. And you trade off - write downs and depreciation. Where company tax gets complicated - is it can balanced over five years - of income and losses. You drop company taxes - that opens Australia up - for large companies to move here. It becomes a good place to invest in. And what no-one considers is. You drop company taxes - you get rid of all the write downs. And you get more money in as taxes - and sooner. What these people wont talk about is - you want to drive investment in Australia. The tax laws - industrial relations laws have to change. And tariffs have to go back on some goods. What no Australian government will tell you - and labor certainly wont is. Australia's national economy - does not equal the economy of California. That is how embarrassing our economy is. And people like this lying teal and labor and greens - will go nowhere near tax reform. As they wont admit they are the reason - we are are very underdeveloped economy.

'Improved productivity in the public sector' is how she will fund her initiatives. This is the public service that labour just added 30,000 jobs to so they can produce more ... administration This is the public service where there are so many of them in Canberra that there is a shortage of office space and most are working 2-3 days from home.
