Homeschool your children today as the publicly educated ones will need someone to work for tomorrow.

Our schools are terrible because the GOP rightly defunded them.

If the Attorney General gig doesn't work out for Matt Gaetz he should be nominated for department of education. He'll be very personally involved in these young people's lives 👍

@KellerCt Says:
Delete ALL unions from government! Local, state and federal!
@americaalways1442 Says:
Public education is a state and local issue and should be funded by such. To the extent that the Federal government is involved, one of the main tasks should be measurement of performance, and with this metric guidance can hopefully be given to help improve scores on standardized tests. It should not be involved in funding public education except maybe to give college scholarships to the best and brightest, as measured by national standardized tests, in fields that will help our country prosper. This would be STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. No, it does not include social science(including DEI and CRT), political science, liberal arts. Almost all other nations who have made economic progress give standard national tests to all students who want to go to college to determine what they can study and where. Don't like this idea? Well, just look at professional sports. In football there is the "combine" where potential pro players compete against each other to showcase their skills and team scouts note the results and decide who they want to draft. In the Olympics, there is similar competition to determine who will be sent. We have most of the world's best professional athletes because of competition. We are failing big time on the academic side by eliminating competition.
@wanderer5200 Says:
Good. The will get rid of the OCR, and the "Dear Colleague Letter" policies. Campus will be a bit safer for male students.

In my opinion some States are woke and the parents dont get a say so in our childs education, or medical. We're responsible for our childrens actions till thier 18 yrs, but at 12-13yrs old they can decide thier own medical and dont have to inform parents. Hippa laws use against parents.
@bonniehage8163 Says:
In order to get the endorsement of the teachers union, Jimmy Carter promised to create the Dept. of Education, which has proven to be a failed dept.! Do away with it and let our kids begin to learn again!
@douglaslucas7612 Says:
Department of indoctrination
@ffjsb Says:
The only problem is the lack of parenting. They will have to start having parenting classes in high schools to teach what has been lost in the last 50 years. And states need to prohibit political indoctrination by teachers.
@davidjsouth231 Says:
I’m married to an educator. I suggest an overhaul to actually make education something that’s competitive with the rest of the world.
Most parents today are clueless about their kids’ education and are just as uneducated
@jeffnaval4894 Says:
The Department of Education should delegate more control to the states, allowing them to tailor their education systems. Additionally, a tier list should be created to rank all 50 states based on educational performance. Low-performing states can then study and adopt best practices from the highest-ranking states to improve their outcomes.
@TomSherwood-z5l Says:
Or for that matter, how else can they become ignorant brain washed zombies to support the party? What next? School uniforms and a ban on pink rainbow hair for grade schoolers? Oh the agony.
@TadashiNazuka Says:
Abolish it.

American schools were number 1 until prayer 🙏 and bible were forcefully removed from schools. Go back to what worked
@LisaBonn-gj5of Says:
Bring back the good book this is a lesson we had to learn the hard way, when we don’t follow the greatest teacher of all time (Jesus) Bring back His principles not the teachings of the principalities of this world. After the Bible was excluded from the classrooms there was a steady decline that followed after of morality & family values, amongst many other values. There’s only one way to fight evil & that’s with goodness. His way, that’s the Yahweh. ♥️

What? You don't want the evil swamp monsters to educate your kids? Take them out of the picture? Then how will your children learn to be good comrades?
@Crookedcross322 Says:
Parents need to TAKE AWAY the cell 📵 phones when kids come home! Kids have COMPLETELY become addicted to social media
@williamkraus6469 Says:
School used to be a place that helped prepare children for life. Government has zero place in that. Government should be there to make sure roads and bridges are repaired and that we have a strong military and our borders are secure. Nobody has any business telling our children what to think and believe. It is the job of a parent to raise their children. Schools are here to help parents, not take their place.
@benscott2743 Says:
OK - Last numbers I saw a few years ago - DEPT of ED had a yearly operating budget of $70BILLION. They send about 20 back to the states and eat up $50BILLON DOLLARS a year in "operating costs". Send it DIRECTLY to the State's Dept of Ed - 1.2 BILLION per STATE Right back to the students we serve - I say shut it down now!
@reneesmith1339 Says:
3:35 I agree with this lady 1000%! 90% of a childs success is PARENT SUPPORT! So many parents have a hard time teaching their kids at home & helping with homework when they have 10 steps to figure the answer to a 35x16 multiplication problem! Its ridiculous!
@christiner5671 Says:
How do you expect uneducated parents to be in charge of a child’s education? I do not see the logic; it is like putting someone who doesn’t know how to drive in charge of teaching a child how to drive.

@chrisnizer Says:
It is NOT the Department of "Education." It IS the Department of INDOCTRINATION and should be thrown in the garbage...where it belongs...before it ruins any more children's futures.
@madampolo Says:
When Trump was first elected, I told my hubby that I wish he'd abolish the Department of Education and return education to the States. When campaigning, I never heard him say that he wanted to do that. The 10th amendment says that powers not specifically given to the federal government belong to the State, or to the people. Abortion falls into this category as well. Our education system has, over the last 50 years, spiralled down to where it no longer offers a quality education. This is very detremental to our children. I look forward to revamping education.
