He wasn't highly trained lol. He had a tan belt in MCMAP. (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) I mean good on him for protecting ppl but the tan belt is what you receive in boot camp. And in tan belt training as a recruit its mainly fighting with your rifle using horizontal/vertical buttstrokes and bayonet combat. Yeah you cover some blood and air chokes but all of tan belt training takes place in a week... Now you can earn higher degree belts after boot camp and just like any other martial arts it tops off with the Black belts and black belt instructor ranking. But in all honesty you can learn better jujitsu watching a Nate Diaz fight than in tan belt training.

When I defended my parents against a drug addict who said he would approach them, New Jersey arrested me because he ran to the police and made up a story that wasn't true. No surprise, they used my military service against me in court. Charges were dropped once they found out the story was made up as in reality I was defending my parents against this guy. Moral of the story, I don't go to these blue states as they'll just use your military service against you.
