A few words about President Biden, President Putin and Afghanistan
Joe Biden admitted that he didn`t know how many Americans were in Afghanistan, or if he could bring them out safely. But he has still defended his chaotic evacuation and even called it for "extraordinary success". His statements have had no logic whatsoever. Joe Biden has also stated repeatedly that he was very tough on Russia. Wall Street Journal revealed already in 2021 that President Putin played Joe Biden like a fiddle at their June 16. meeting in 2021 in Europe.
The US military hoped to position forces temporarily near Afghanistan after Afghan withdrawal, but President Putin told President Biden June 16. in 2021 in Europe that "Moscow objects". Joe Bided and his administration "forgot" to tell this to the general public in the US. Also WSJ revealed that already then. WSJ in June 2021 : "Previously unreported exchange between Biden and Putin complicated the US military’s options for basing drones and other counterterrorism forces in countries bordering landlocked Afghanistan. That challenge has deepened with the collapse over the weekend of the Afghan government and armed forces."
Joe Biden knew already during his June 16. 2021 meeting with Putin in Europe that he can't protect the US forces from outside Afghanistan during a sudden withdrawal from Afghanistan. Joe Biden decided that the US will take a sudden exit from Afghanistan despite knowing that he can't protect the US forces during or after it. No responsible leader makes such decisions. Joe Biden has had enough people to remind him what he agreed about Afghanistan with Putin June 16. in 2021 in Europe. So Joe Biden and his administration has been lying about the whole Afghanistan exit case the whole time.

Trump began the withdrawal process by organising the release of the leader of the Taliban Baradar and 5,000 Taliban fighters. He stopped air strikes against the Taliban and withdrew American troops to a bare minimum. The surprise is that the Americans withdrew relatively unscathed.
