Greater Darwin lockout extended by 24 hours
Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner says the Greater Darwin lockout has been extended for an additional 24 hours after the source of the cluster was identified. Mr Gunner said a 21-year-old female who lied on her border entry form after visiting Victoria has been issued a $5,024 fine and will also have to pay for her stay at Howard Springs. The Northern Territory cluster remains at three cases with no new local infections reported on Sunday. 'While it's great that we know where this outbreak came from and everything's looking good for Greater Darwin, we are going to have to expand the lockout by an additional 24 hours to allow us to do the contact tracing and testing work we need,' Mr Gunner said. 'So the Greater Darwin lockout has been extended until midnight tomorrow night.'
