'Canter' towards global carbon tax is 'becoming a gallop': Credlin
Sky News host Peta Credlin says the 'canter' towards a global carbon tax is 'becoming a gallop' after it was revealed OECD Chief Mathias Cormann is calling for an international carbon pricing regime. 'Today he's been joined by one of Australia's most influential businessmen, former Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris, who says a global carbon tax is the best way to consolidate the progress made at COP26,' she said. Ms Credlin discussed the issue with former Labor minister Stephen Conroy and Sky News host Rita Panahi. 'Mathias Cormann's come on board, it's not going to be long before Scott Morrison has to find a way to do it, whether he'll admit that's what he's going to do after the election or not,' Mr Conroy said.
