The top intelligence agencies in the US and UK releasing a statement warning of 'the perils of Chinese espionage and influence' is incredible, says Liberal Party Defence and National Security Policy Chair Lincoln Parker.
'Indeed, we saw evidence of this occur just two weeks ago, with Chinese information warfare attacking an Australian publicly-listed mining company,' he told Sky News host Chris Smith.
'So the Chinese influence and information warfare operations went into full swing in the United States to try and get this stropped.
'Fortunately, it didn't work and we stopped it.'
What is good for China is bad for the world. As close neighbor, Koreans know that as Koreans have seen what Chinese do for centuries. Xi is looking for payback for centuries of perceived slights and while we argue over which bathrooms to use, China is building naval bases at strategic choke points throughout the Pacific, not to mention the influence they have in the canal zone here in our own backyard.

Naval bases in the location of the Solomon's Islands, Vanuatu and Kiribati cuts Australia's lines of supply with the US. The use of submarines by China in these areas would mean that the US navy could not risk passing through these waters while the use of China’s surface ships with their air defence capabilities would also prevent US aircraft flying over them. The net effect of the possession of these bases by China will be to cut us off from the US.
Now why would China want to do that?

Heck, should have watched the full video before commenting, didn't see the part about the "imminent attack on Taiwan" (which has been imminent since 1947 actually) I'm surprised they didn't bring up the possibility of a Chinese missile strike on Guam which was floated just the other day.
Loved the line about it being reported in The Australian (another totally unbiased publication) that an (unnamed) insider in the US national security establishment said we could have two Nuclear subs by 2030, you reckon Dutton would have been spruiking that in the lead up to the election (if there was any substance in it)
