Government's climate legislation is 'ducking the issue': Joyce
Shadow Veterans' Affairs Minister Barnaby Joyce says the government's proposed climate legislation is 'ducking the issue'. 'If you want to help people in floods, you've got to build dams to regulate flows, you've got to build canals so you can get the water away from areas in a hurry,' he told Sky News host Chris Smith. 'What you're going to do for people is pass a piece of legislation that is going to have zero effect on the climate.'
