Some UK universities have gone 'stark raving mad'
Sky News host Chris Smith says some of the United Kingdom's largest universities have 'gone stark raving mad'. 'The Universities of Bristol and Nottingham have outlawed the use of common words, because they're considered offensive,' he said. Mr Smith said 'mankind' had now become 'humankind', 'able bodied' was now 'non-disabled' and 'manpower' was replaced with 'workforce'. 'Are we not being subject to the most insane period of political correctness in our history? I think we are,' he said. 'I think we should all just stand up to these cancel culture cretins, these over-sensitive word police, and use the language that damn well suits us.'
