Survey finds Aussie parents fear their kids will never own a home

A survey conducted by the Financial Basics Foundation and Suncorp shows 32 per cent of parents are concerned their children will never own a house. Five per cent of the 1,000 parents surveyed said they are prepared to chip in for their child's house deposit. The data comes following rising housing and inflation costs, as well as scarcity plaguing the market.
