Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says it's 'hard to believe' the governor-general wouldn't suggest then prime minister Scott Morrison be more transparent when appointing himself to several high-profile ministries.
Mr Morrison declined to divulge any details about his conversations with the governor-general, which Mr Clennell said was 'hiding behind the traditional secrecy of conversations between the prime minister and governor-general'.
