Australia is a great country to produce solar, and wave energy, but Sky News are more concerned about the continued use of fossil fuels.
@dt-wq7ql Says:
I'm watching the Great Reset in real time. Useful idiots and all . It will all end in tears for the climate cult . By the way , where are all the real men opposing this garbage in Australia ?
@davidcarter4247 Says:
But only for businesses who have a unionised workforce on over the award pay rates. This will be about moving taxpayer money to union coffers who will then donate it to Labor.
@mh017509 Says:
Typical leftie - pick up winning darlings and shove them with the taxpayers money.
@roberthenrystevens9184 Says:
Idiot
@birgittabirgersdatter8082 Says:
Why would people pay lots of money to put solar panels on their rooves, when electricity sellers give them 5 cents or less per kwh their panels put into the system?
@birgittabirgersdatter8082 Says:
But we still have to import materials from overseas. I woild also like to know who woild be daft enough to open a solar panel manufacturing plant in Australia where we have the most expensive electricity in the world. They woikd probably just move to China where there is plenty of electrixity.
@stevencorlett7972 Says:
Albo just doesn't live in real life does he......he's CLEARLY never heard of BAD WEATHER (HAIL in particular) which Australia GETS ALOT OF, just ask Texas what happens to your 4,500 HECTARES of solar panels!!! 100% DESTROYED & LEAKING HIGHLY TOXIC MATERIAL INTO THE WATER TABLE... . yeah they're a FANTASTIC idea aren't they😂😂😂
@NGP14 Says:
Incompetence at its best !!This government is the worst ever !!

@hrausss Says:
I have been installing and selling solar since 2009 this is a joke. We should follow Russia's lead. We should be the 2nd nuclear power . To do this it takes being a processer of uranium into the enriching field . Without enriching uranium.we would build a power station then need to buy our enriched uranium from Russia . Also if we built solar panels in Australia we need to be vertical integrated . So aluminum,glass, cells, glue, so on .. As what usually happens with albo and all our politicians they have no idea about manufacturing. Australia is fffff 🎉❤ I love Australia but too many stupid people running it xo
@filop Says:
What a Joke this parasitic little twat is.
@ironmaidens6663 Says:
I''m sure taxpayers will be real happy to be paying for this.😠
@wyatthurts1729 Says:
That’s why they aren’t made in Australia the finished product cannot compete with established imports. Albo needs at least a spark between the ears
@chopinmack5418 Says:
Australia should sell the expensive minerals to China and purchase the cheap Solar Panels back in return . Buy from Tesla the whole Energy Storage System is another option , in case there are excessive surplus . Australia has a lot of deserts and is in a good position to make use of the free energy from the Sun .
@user-fv5ms4sz8e Says:
Wind towers will last a lot longer than solar panels. The best use for solar panels are road signs in remote locations or construction zones, where running power cables or running a portable power generator isn't practical. Wind is extremely clean, very reliable, and only limited by harsh weather and they also have a thirty year life span, which is much longer than anything else. Coal is also good, because it produces carbon which plants have to have to thrive. The downside to coal, is it emits steam, which is added heat to the atmosphere.
@Super_Mario128 Says:
It won’t be easy under Albosleazy.
@alistair4937 Says:
If subsidies are required then the panels are nonviable.
@tonybloomfield5635 Says:
Right now, Australia has one solar panel manufacturer who has been around for ten to fifteen years, Tindo in Adelaide. You can be absolutely certain that, yet another mis-managed, inept Labor scheme will ensure that they destroy that company and in a few years' time we will have none. True to form they will burn billions of our $$$ for a negative result.
@drewsale7288 Says:
Government spending on solar panels means more inflation. Solar energy is expensive which means more inflation. Don't expect lower inflation while Comrade Albo chases green dreams.
@gunga360 Says:
The Grubby PM has announced $1b to help each and every Australian with the cost of living crisis he caused
@georgek2508 Says:
Another experiment from Bozo the Brown Midas Albo, lets see these solar panels made from solar or wind energy, peanut brains crossed with dumbarse woke.
@eb2505 Says:
Well, at least it's all fiat currency, so it's worth nothing.
@omgitsabloodyandroid5161 Says:
So that’ll be $1,000 per panel and they will go strike half the time
@user-gy6wg1og6d Says:
Full of B.S!!!!
@tomjones5338 Says:
Labor money laundering 1 billion for themselves again
@xenofonz7640 Says:
I like to see the real costs and the environmental damage caused by the making, installing, maintaining and disposing of solar panels. I bet like any other government-funded projects, it will end up being a lot higher than what they claim it is. Look at Snowy 2.0. It's way over budget and it's not even finished.
@dominicpelle7841 Says:
Could have been happening since 2005 if it wasn't for John Howard... Suntech moved to China... instead for lack of support.
@southern-samurai Says:
More future toxic waste.
@dr.hans.asperger Says:
research: Solyndra
@gjssjg Says:
Comrade Albo is pretty handy throwing other peoples money around
@paulveenings6861 Says:
What’s going to power the factories making these panels. Where’s the skilled workers coming from, where are they going to be housed. How many panels will be produced each year and when will the first one role out the factory door.
@graemehollings2461 Says:
There is a world wide glut of solar panels, so naturally we should make them. What fools or we are the fools.
@AmyJaneJones2001 Says:
In 12 years time they will need replacing but hey Albanese won't care, little prick will be on his pension and won;t give a stuff about Australia.
@smith4985 Says:
What an outrage, why on earth should we make them here, when china can make them much cheaper. If anything more Aussie made goods should be made in china. How about Chinese made Tim Tams (Ching Cham's)
@johnlowe8418 Says:
So what happens to these when they reach use by date??
@leeevans2929 Says:
This government is out of control. We can’t afford to put solar panels on our roofs cause of cost of living crises and the homeless don’t even have roofs to put them on. Shove ya digital ID’s too
@savagegfry Says:
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 If you believe that, you'll believe that you'll get $275 cheaper electricity, without Coal and gas.
@HDRK2009 Says:
More tax payers money going down the proverbial toilet.
@pookeyhutchison7838 Says:
Albo the clown at his best.
@speedymccreedy8785 Says:
'Production subsides, grants, and other support'. Taxpayers duded again on the perpetually subsidised green revolution. But my CSIRO said this was the cheapest form of energy production, what went wrong. If they were so competitive why would they need the Albo money plane.
@gore1089 Says:
Great. What we need, someone that's actively working for us.
@baldmenwin9591 Says:
Texas just had a whole solar panel field destroyed by hail... Solar Panels are not as convenient and stable as old fashioned power plants.
@leevan2332 Says:
Still QUIET on the Digital ID bill? It really is showing that Sky is just controlled opposition!
@lukeh3201 Says:
Ironically, solar panel manufacture is energy intensive.
@Barney_Rubble247 Says:
He might be doing something right here.
@stephenbrowne119 Says:
This is only going to make the change to Nuclear cost more.
