As in Australian, I begin to hate my country more and more each day
@tonidantonio9877 Says:
If the guns are registered state by state, save money by just amalgamating the information, there is your national gun registry. You are welcome and it didn’t cost millions… 🙏🇦🇺ps once digitised the registry can be hacked and available for the picking. Seriously. Safe and effective for your protection, again.
@Telee_Pawt Says:
whos mate needed money?
@20alphabet Says:
Unconstitutional
@NeverGonaHappen Says:
Yeah. Keep creating new laws to make responsible citizens criminals but NEVER enforce the basic criminal Laws we already have that would result in locking up the Home Invaders, the Car Jackers, the Street Thugs, the Drug Pushers that are arrested time and time again and just let out on bail. It won't be long until it's SAFER to be a Criminal.
@helenowen5408 Says:
Every state has a registry (and every registry has been hacked providing crims with a shopping list.) Why would it take over a hundred million to link these registries??. This will do sweet fck all to make the community safer. Just another waste of money that could be spent on health, roads, the homeless or other infrastructure. 🍺🇦🇺
@steverogers9507 Says:
What a smirking fool of a man. Laws that criminalise honest gun owners. Most terrible law ever passed. Dreyfuss would not have a clue. China will know now Australia is unarmed.
@OutsideAddiction Says:
Just to set a few people straight. If you have a firearms license, all firearms you own are already registered too to your name / license / address ect.
@ed-jf3xh Says:
Your registry isn't going to help, much. If someone is predisposed to violence, they will get guns despite the registry. The problem is not the guns themselves but the people. And if there weren't guns, then they would use knives, machetes, clubs, rocks, screwdrivers, fists, vehicles.... I need not go on. Almost anything can be used as a weapon.
@kidsoxoxox Says:
Be patient, but never forget, never forgive, and don't be suckers to enlist when the next '1942 emergency' arrives. This corrupt oppressive misadrist nation will be desperate one day for real men like Ukraine is now. The situation is now far far worse for the state, bide your time friends.
@neodirtchief Says:
This guy is missing the tiny mustache.
@neodirtchief Says:
That way they know where to go when they decide to come for your guns.
@davidhay3417 Says:
American here, first they register your guns, Then they take away your guns, Then they institute full Communism, Australia, competing to be the laughing stock of the world, with Canada and UK.
@petecorbin9606 Says:
Germany had people register about 100 years ago. This is nothing but the first step people of Australia, time to wake up.
@millardwilliams9182 Says:
Effective in keeping guns out of good peoples hands, and into bad peoples hands... Idiots!! Austrailia!! Wake up!... It won't keep anyone safe....
@harrmick6218 Says:
New aniti gun slogan. Criminals for gun control.
@DE-gb3wq Says:
The Australian government making honest people into criminals once again. They use a tragedy to punish all innocent people. Abuse of power.
@Waldemarvonanhalt Says:
Saffer here: We have a central firearms registry in Pretoria. It has done fokkol to combat violent crime and the added jungle of red tape has just made it more difficult for people wanting to apply for licensing of a firearm (as well as diverting limited police resources to herding proverbial cats). In other words, the innocent are subjected to government-mandated anarcho-tyranny: being at the mercy of criminals preying on society.
@danhay2505 Says:
Hopefully the USA learns from this and formally disbands the ATF so this scenario doesn’t become a reality to them (which it will, if another Biden gets in)…

@keithc904 Says:
Box ticking without doing any work to fix the problems at it's finest, and most expensive I may add. Fing usless.
@Dantheman3993 Says:
They tried to force a failed and deadly experiment into your body. And beat you on the streets!! I pity the Australian people, like i did the jewish community during ww2
@kfcinafrica2111 Says:
“Gun Violence” CRIMINALS DONT FOLLOW LAWS, you fucking morons!
@lochlancampbell5130 Says:
This was not needed. Just politicians saving face by burning taxpayers money on something that will not work
@aaronjupp8224 Says:
Criminals don’t register guns.🤦🏼‍♂️
@weekendatbidens1387 Says:
You’d think $160 million dollars would be better spent on the housing crisis in this country…dickheads.
@68dgmitch Says:
Yep this is what we need to monitor law abiding firearm owners.
@Templar056 Says:
Ummmm, can someone explain to me why it’s going to cost $161m to share passwords? All legal firearms in Australia are already registered, every single one of them, this is a complete farce and a waste of money yet again, is this all Labor can do, make up an problem and offer a BS solution, $161,300,000.00 to line who’s pockets
@PaulWatt-nh8jv Says:
Yeh nice one Dickhead I hope all the Criminals Register their Firearms oh but Criminals don't have Firearms do they ya Bloody Moron more wasted money but we have heaps of that eh yeh well done your earning your Money
@davepowelldrumz Says:
machete register next ?
@muzzleflash1 Says:
Did you notice Drufuss never mentioned organised crime or other criminals needed to register, only citizens who did the right thing and followed all the current laws.
@rob9263 Says:
So these clowns are going to waste $160 million of tax payers money in order to duplicate state systems that are already in place? Now the crims will have two government systems they won’t register their guns with 😂😂😂😂 Why not just get the state systems already in place to communicate with each other ? . . . . . .
@kaosthecosmicreviewer1055 Says:
So once again big brother will have his eye on innocent civilians whereas criminals will be invisible. Their little toy will know where every legally purchased firearm will be but not the ones in the criminal's hands. This is Port Arthur 2.0, we lose more rights and liberties, the criminals do not. I'm sure the little traitor himself John "the coward" Howard will speak about this, even though no one asked for his opinion, or wants to listen to him speak.
@johnross8946 Says:
Nazi Australia
@weekendatbidens1387 Says:
I guess it will be a lot easier for the federal government to ban legal firearms completely when they carry out the next Port Arthur.
@joeybrown3583 Says:
I feel less safe when government takes away our freedoms.
@Master-AGN Says:
It’s amazing how they never talk about how the Howard government cut spending on mental health by 50% two weeks prior to Port Arthur. They just talk about how crazy Bryant is. Nor do they talk about how the homicide rate in Australia is unchanged. So now you get stabbed rather than shot. Or if security guards were armed at Bondi Shopping Centre, it would’ve been a different story. Nope just the usual pony and dog show.
@offgridjohn871 Says:
Another nail in freedoms coffin.
@naughteedesign Says:
making it difficult for the populous to defend themselves is the actions of a tyrannical government and always proceeds the government (or their cronies) killing them given enough time. criminals (which includes our government) should be fearful of law abiding citizens, not the other way around. are we really this ignorant?
@fightforaglobalfirstamendm5617 Says:
Evil!
@Wedgetail96 Says:
This government once again preying on the knowledge that most people don’t understand that everything he just announced already exists. Each of the states and territories have effective firearms registries in existence, and the data within these registries is available to police already. So once again tens of millions of dollars spent on an announcement that plays to public ignorance.
@user-do5ft8rr6s Says:
Making Australia safe? How about changing bail laws or is this just a distraction, softening us up for esafety.
@weekendatbidens1387 Says:
What a complete waste of money. Dreyfus needs to be fired and sent back to Israel.
@ApexAL Says:
Well done another step towards total fascism..
@thebluestig2654 Says:
There were 22 more mass incidents after Port Arthur, he just lied to all of you. A certain mustachioed German said his national registry would keep Germany safer. Then he started stuffing people in train cars. Registration doesn't save people, it cost more than 150 million their lives.
@stewatparkpark2933 Says:
All firearms are already registered at a State and Territory level in Australia . All they have to do is give each other access to the data banks . Would cost nothing .
@ssiiggyy1980 Says:
Sorry for you, Austrians. I really hope the U.S. doesn't head down the same path. If so, then the ones who's really pulling the strings win.
