Why do the talking heads at CNN feel compelled to endlessly defer to him?

He must be thrilled by the fact that he's able to play, like a violin maestro, his enemies at CNN, using them to broadcast his propaganda and his utterly ridiculous claims that he's a victim, that Biden is "the worst president in history" - this from a chump who was too lazy, indifferent, and arrogant to even read the daily briefings that were prepared for him during his disastrous tenure, and who has surely never read a single book on American history.
There are some reporters who have done a nice job of challenging him, but the network as a whole is his most effective, reliable platform.
