Australia is still the lucky country. USA may face a recession in 2025/6 but not this year. Hopefully, when the USA have a recession, China and Asia would have a good economy. Economy is like a circle …..it goes around. They call it the ten year circle. Boom to bust to boom. It is AI that will really threaten USA. A lot of mundane office jobs will be lost. The service industry will be hit .

When i first retired in 2013, the Major Shopping Centres were about 25 % full during the Day now by 10.30anm they are full everyday not to many oldies Iike me mainly the 2 0 to 35 year age bracket. Yes and they are spending, something isn't right . Love to see the income tax take for the year by the federal government, unemployment 4% pull the other one !
