There is n reason not to cut taxes and spending by 50%. Time for the great tax reset.
@Gruffydom Says:
19,000 extra public servants. Why? What are they doing?
@Gruffydom Says:
If real wages didn’t remain flat inflation would be increasing more.
@terrykemble-yi2nc Says:
Another couple of LNP losers, can anyone tell us what these two have ever done or contributed to the Australian people, really anything.
@chrisburnett4742 Says:
Those “natural Labor urges to spend more” that Jane lied about were superseded by the 9 year LNP Govt that doubled our national debt before COVID and then took it to beyond a trillion dollars, ensuring that interest on the LNP debt is the fastest growing line item in the national budget. Jane forgot to mention that her government presided over the greatest rise in house prices ever and thanks to her government’s policies our kids will probably never own a home. Great work Jane - as usual you speak like a true ex-banker - all about austerity for the majority and asset inflation to grow the wealth of the few.
@chrisburnett4742 Says:
How do these incompetent buffoons, who ran an economy with the lowest productivity, lowest wage increases and highest debt creation in 60 years, keep a straight face when criticising the Labor Government’s economic management? Dodgy Angus (Cayman islands accounts, sold the water rights of his property with no actual water storage to Barnaby for $80 million, grasslands poisoning, carbon capture and storage that never captured any carbon & so much more). Thank god Labor is managing the economy- they’ve given us fairer tax cuts, fairer child care, fairer pharmaceutical costs and the first two surpluses in a very long time. The LNP being good economic managers is a myth created by the LNP & their News Corp supporters team.
@peterburdett8131 Says:
2 Labour governments are dishing out handouts inflation will hurt all Australians. Spending money on unreliable renewables is sending us broke
@VK4VO Says:

@ApexAL Says:
Angus Taylor.. does he even know what day of the week it is? Half price Tuesday at the knock shop 🤣
@user-gk7wg4rm4i Says:
Labour is shocking, but let's not pretend that the Liberal party showed zero fiscal restraint when productivity ground to a halt during COVID. They paid casual workers a full-time tax payer funded wage to sit at home and do nothing. They are at least half the reason we are in this mess.
@scorp2011hd Says:
The naive selfish fools that voted for the useless Labor clowns should be ashamed of themselves🙄😡🤡
@Domycommentsoffendyouprincess Says:
We need a referendum to change the voting system, so we dont have to put up with the 2 clown parties who blame each other. Vote one nation.!!
@vmura Says:
we have home grown incompetence
@leonie563 Says:
Neither LNP who just had 10 years in government nor ALP who have just had 2 years and both now refuse to strip the pants off those gaming our tax system legally or not. The 1990s era pork is now 35 years past needing cutting and only once that is done, then we need to fundamentally reform Superannuation which is behaving like a giant offshore tax haven 🏝 whether its inside a super fund, a smsf, trusts, syndicates, pty ltd or other company tax loophole structure. Until we contain tax haven creation at kitchen tables, we will continue paying interest on national debt that is borrowed offshore to pay to underwrite the tax minimisation for households who appear to be starting "younger for longer".

Argentina is showing the way back. cut govt bureaucracy and shed depts and spending that do nothing.. but this govt is adding and spending it has lost the plot

@robertnicholson1409 Says:
There is only one cause of inflation and that is Government. It's not prices going up, it's caused by Government spending too much money, more than it receives in taxes and charges. Price rises are the result of inflation not the cause.....so who is responsible, the Albanese Government is 100%.
@malcolmhector2641 Says:
Burges news flash , they can't it's in there DNA . We will see more money heading to Queensland cause of there election is coming & need to buy the votes , so taxes to go up to fund it . & there wayward spending .

@REALLouMinarty Says:
Labor created thr debt with their response to and demands during COVID. Now, they're failing to take responsibility and are doing nothing but deflecting and continuing to spend.

It's because we printed all this money in 2020 and gave it to Big Pharma for the useless safe and effective and paid everyone to say home and do nothing.
@davehad-enough2369 Says:
The RBA should have lift the rate. Albanese and the useless treasurer has no idea what they are doing. We are in trouble.
@DJ-yj1vg Says:
This is the problem when governments are rewarded for giving handouts. You ultimately end up electing high-spending govts who "buy" your vote by pretending to be generous. The problem is that nothing is free. Ultimately, someone, somewhere has to pay for them. You, the taxpayer. So they take money from one pigeonhole and place it in another, all the while calling themselves giving "relief". The fact is that by providing this relief, they are essentially taxing your more. If they did more to reduce people's financial burdens such as the cost of everyday bills (gas, electricity, water bills) we wouldn't need these handouts in the first place. A corner deli is more financially responsible than Labor.
@d-munn Says:
Wish they would allow Australians to ‘home-grown’ other than Canberra pollies kids.
