This is absolute madness. And NO, it can not happen. We just need to find a better, lower emissions way with our natural resources, like coal fired facilities and recycling of other natural resources like oil by-products, petroleum byproducts and solar energy.
NO TO WIND FARMS. We need sustainable better ways to give us the power and utilities we need in the future. We can not leave a big imprint on the environment. Better natural ways are still being thought of. NO TO NUCLEAR also, it's not a trustworthy source.
We cannot have a big Australia with too many people coming in. We live around the coasts, the edges, as we have huge desolate areas that are uninhabitable and no infrastructure can be sustained. Why don't these stupid moronic politicians see that.

A disaster is the end result but it's a success because that is the goal. Population reduction is the whole plan. The world expanded quickly once energy was plentiful and inexpensive. So they are going to reverse that.

Labor never plans properly, it is all about what happens now. They have set time line for net zero with no plan to get there. Zero carbon energy production is easily achieved, but not with what we are doing at the moment. Solar and wind are buzz words to labor they keep spouting this rhetoric with little or no planning. They are sending us on a path to deindustrialisation. Basically the people do not matter to labor. Even nuclear is not a short term solution taking 10 years to build and commission a NPP. We are very likely to start having power supply issues rolling blackouts and power costs the average family will not be able to afford the Sunday roast. Even now to cook a Sunday roast costs us $9 in electricity. We haven’t turned on the heating in the last 8months, cold put on more clothes. We do not matter to labor.
