I attended, and dealt with, literally hundreds of road traffic collisions over a period of twenty years. After viewing the image of the impact on the windscreen of the vehicle, there is no way I would have assessed it had been caused by the cyclist T boning the vehicle.

I would imagine a lot of the VicPol involved at the lower levels were manipulated by a few at the highest levels, threats of Job loss, chance of promotion lost or gained depending upon their actions.
I hope that all of us aren’t too hasty to paint all Police with the same brush, how would the rest of us react when our livelihood/career/ ability to provide for our family was threatened!

So let's run thru the list. Police - this case goes beyond bungling. George Pell. Covid tasering and handcuffing pregnant women, while gangsters roam the streets. Then there's the Vic Courts - beyond incompetent, proven by 7:0 ruling by High Court (thank God someone still has brains and integrity). And then, the ABC adding 5 extra gunshot sounds to incriminate a soldier. I mean, that guy could have been court-martialled on false charges. So all the above examples - are all sponging off taxpayer funds. It's overdue to drain the swamp here.
