Wages, productivity, job security, and women's experiences will be the focus of the government's upcoming Jobs and Skills Summit.
Government, unions and business representatives will meet over the first two days of September in Canberra.
A new issues paper released on Wednesday says the summit will explore five key themes.
These include growing productivity and maintaining employment, boosting job security and wages, increasing participation, delivering a high-quality labour force through skills training and migration, and maximising future industries.
