Sky News host Chris Kenny says to deny nuclear energy is to simply 'deny reality'.
'Germany, which like us has gone too far down the renewable path and has had to extend the life of coal generators and import gas from Russia, well now it is extending the life of three nuclear power stations that it had slotted to close later this year,' he said.
'And why? Well because it needs � power that comes at a reliable and affordable price.
'And power that doesn't increase greenhouse gas emissions.'
