Former NBA championship player Andrew Bogut has encouraged the NRL to concentrate on rugby league and not get distracted by a 'Respect Round'.
He said athletes are not allowed to 'sit on the fence' anymore and are forced to take a side.
'You can't sit it out because you get labelled straight away,' the Rogue Bogue Podcast host told Sky News host Paul Murray.
'It is not as easy as saying 'if you don't want to wear a rainbow flag, or if you don't want to support X agenda or Y agenda, just don't do it' � it doesn't work that way anymore.'
NZ Rugby fully supports Campbell Johnstone. An ex All Black rugby prop forward in 2005, who came forward, ONLY last week to say he is gay. He is also been called "COURAGEOUS" and getting support from current All Black rugby players for stepping forward. This will lead to other clubs and sports of ex-players or up and coming players to be fully open with their love life.
