The United Kingdom is facing a shortage of rapid antigen tests and delays in PCR testing which is leading to Christmas plans being changed or cancelled at the last minute.
Some vaccination centres will remain open over the holiday period to enable more people to get their booster shot.
Rapid tests are notorisouly unreliable, full stop. They might be good for politicians but useless when employed en masse. In over 65 million rapid tests that were taken in Greece, 3.7 million were positive and repeated tests proved that only 220K of them were true positive, a mere 6% in reliability. They are USELESS.

Yesterday you could literally walk up to any stand/booth in any any town centre and ask for as many boxes of test kits as you wanted (for free). It has been like that for months. Any moron that waited until the very last minute to grab a box at 4pm Xmas Eve, just as the shops were closing, only have them selves to blames. It's the same morons that wait until the last hour on Xmas Eve to do their big Xmas shop every year and then they complain the shops have run out of gravy or stuffing for the turkey. LOL

This simply isn't true. Everyone has boxes of tests at home. They literally have stands dotted around in every town and city giving boxes of tests away to anyone who wants them. 7 tests in each box. There have been 4 blokes handing out boxes of test kits to people going to the supermarket every single day for free for the past few months in my town. Even yesterday (Xmas eve) so this is utter nonsense.
