Hugh Grant said some things I believe. Especially about leaf blowers. LOL! My car's paint job was ruined by leaf blowers that were used at my apartment complex. He forgot to mention people constantly looking at and playing with their phones even while walking. Sometimes crossing a street, the "Phoners" nearly get ran over. I wouldn't doubt that somewhere in the world someone was run over and killed still holding on to their phone!

Also, water fountains, at least here in the US are like pay phones; there simply aren’t enough of them still in existence, if any, to be a viable alternatives. Are cell phones also a pet peeve of his? Perhaps Hugh would has us return to walking for miles to find a pay phone when our car breaks down in unincorporated areas or god forbid, having been robbed or in the throes of a medical emergency. When seconds count a pay phone is only hours away.
Shall we do away with all water bottles? When pure unquenchable thirst calls for some water, a drinking fountain is only miles away.
His distaste for backpacks, leaf blowers and water bottles all seem to be an irrational distaste for efficiency.
