Planet Fitness doesn’t care about trans issues.
Companies sometimes get their stock devalued so they can purchase back more of their company cheaply.
Most people have to pay to cancel so PF is getting a huge cash infux to boot.
Less wear on equipment and lower payroll for a few months also goes to bottom line.
Companies been doing this for many years and come out stronger than ever.
Planet Fitness isnt going anywhere and smart people are buying stock while it’s temporary down.

I was going to join and am glad to find out about this practice of theirs so I don’t waste my money on them. I would not be comfortable having a male who is pretending to transition in the same locker room. What actually annoys me the most is that there are ACTUALLY women who have hormone imbalance issues so they grow unwanted facial hair, or simply if you’re dark haired your peach fuzz is a lot more of an issue, and they get made fun of, they get called “a man” they get bullied (not everyone and not all the time I know) but my point is, you make fun of a woman for having facial hair but you think it’s totally normal for women who are actually men to be shaving in a public restroom, it’s just weird.

The thing is, I’m very glad Megan made the distinction between someone who suffers from gender dysphoria who transitions to alleviate their medical condition and someone who pretends to be trans because they’re h*rny and want to invade certain spaces. These are two VERY different things. This is why self ID shouldn’t be allowed. There needs to be a lot of work and commitment to a transition before allowance into specific gendered spaces is permitted. Look up Blaire White, Sasha Colby, Gigi Gorgeous, etc. If any of these trans women entered a women’s locker room, no one would have any issues. If they entered a men’s restroom, there would be a disturbance. Point is, there is a lot of nuance with this. I disagree with the far left that people should be able to use the bathroom of their gender identity regardless, and I disagree with the far right that trans people should always use the bathroom that aligns with their sex assigned at birth.

American has recently tried this approach with another marginalized group in my lifetime. Do you know the history of life in America in the 50’s and 60’s? Black Americans were banned from bathrooms, water fountains, restaurants, etc because of who they were.

I remember about 20 years ago going into the men's restroom at a truck stop in PA and from the rear I thought it was a woman touching up her face in the mirror. I thought she might have accidentally entered the wrong restroom until I got even and saw it was a guy shaving and you know what? I wasn't bothered, she didn't seem to be bothered, nor did anyone else.
