I'm sorry, but the US has a history of eventually abandoning its allies, just ask the South Vietnamese, just ask the Afghans, just ask the Iraqis and just ask the Kurds as a couple of examples. If Trump gets in, I'm sorry, but it's pretty much over. And that's what has me concerned as should everyone. History is important and they have done it many times before.
The Republicans had better realize that if Putin is not stopped in Ukraine, he will be harder to stop when he's in Poland and even harder to stop when he's in Paris. They need to remember the lessons of World War II when they were fashionably late to that game after all of the countries did all the tough fighting for the first few years and only only joined after Pearl Harbour.
