If you don't know why he received the award, I will explain. He served many years in the military as a helicopter pilot and gunner during a time of war. He has been the head of the Invictus games for 10 years. That program has done a lot to help wounded veterans from around the world. But of course you already knew these things about him.
The organization chose Harry to receive that award this year because they felt that he deserved it!
With all due respect to Tillman's mother, she didn't create that award. It is obvious that she has bought into the campaign of Harry hate-mongering that you people vomit out everyday. Or maybe somebody paid her to speak against Harry. Whatever the case, she should not criticize the people that they choose.
She should be honored that someone was willing to recognize the sacrifice of her son by creating an award that honors him. There are literally hundreds of thousands of soldiers who sacrificed just as much as her son who are not recognized.
