Merchan was per se disqualified both by his political donation and his daughter's making money off this case. There are 50 ways this case will be reversed on appeal...years in the future. IF anyone thinks Merchan dismisses this case because of the Supreme Court's immunity decision, you're crazy. He doesn’t care if there's 51 or 101 reasons why Trump's conviction will be overturned...years into the future. He cares how best fashion sentencing to best help Biden, or whomever, runs against Trump in November.
