China, US climate agreement 'mostly symbolic'

????

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the agreement overnight between the world's two biggest polluters, China and the US, on climate at COP26 was mostly symbolic but a breakthrough for the summit. 'Mostly symbolic but committing to action on carbon dioxide emissions plus action where Australia avoided making a commitment - reducing methane,' Mr Clennell said. 'The Australian government would argue, as they do on emissions generally, that our performance is a lot better than other countries anyway, so targets a moot point. 'In fact, Australia has reduced its methane emissions by seven per cent since 2005, the US by four per cent, the EU by 18 per cent, Canada by 15 per cent, but the Chinese emissions have grown by 48 per cent. 'As I have previously reported, I expect Labor to announce its climate policy after the next sittings of parliament in November and December. 'Scott Morrison indicated we will get the modelling on the government's net zero target before parliament resumes on November 22. 'I would suggest Labor could easily go with a 35 per cent target reduction in emissions target for 2030 and argue the government's projections take us there anyway. 'A more ambitious target from Labor would probably be electoral suicide.'

Soon we will have tax on cow farts! All politicians in the world seem to have lost their minds!! Methane CH4 quickly turns into CO2 and H2O in the atmosphere. And CO2 is only a benefit for life on this planet. Nothing of it makes sense! These international communists will destroy our civilization.

There is no climate agreement between the US and China. What the US has done is effectively put on a blindfold in a boxing match on the word of their opponent that they will do the same, only their opponent is a lying cheating scumbag.

As long as the US,AU and the EU allow unrestricted mass migration of some of the most ignorant people in the world by the millions how in the hell are they going to do anything about climate change ? The US open borders are a disaster and throwing trillions of dollars around that can never be repaid, inflation at a 31 year high, giving the working peoples tax dollars to people who will never contribute anything. Does anyone in government even see they are destroying country ?

The biggest threat facing the world today is not global warming, it's the China communist party. it has infiltrated every part of our government.

But anyone with a clue about methane and China knows that it is all BS and they are ignoring the unavoidable elephant in the room. Accounting for around 2.5% of all global human-induced GHG emissions, rice's climate footprint is comparable to that of international aviation. Rice production is estimated to be responsible for 12% of total methane global emissions, mainly due to its anaerobic decomposition during its production processes.
