Not to mention the loud constant humming noise is disorienting & Even Killing mammal's 🐬 🐋 It has to END. Not to mention how UGLY & DESTRUCTIVE To the environment, land & water. Oh did I mention they don't WORK Well & Break down CONSTANTLY. They're very costly to Run! Good job environmentalists‼️You've made the earth more TOXIC ☠️ 😂👍
@gurnleygropple4734 Says:
What the....... A Labor "environment" minister not supporting a green energy project? is this the new card on the table in 2024 as a mechanism for Albo and state govts to "soften" up on the impending carnage of net zero? Are a few ducks and flatheads in a muddy lagooned area like this really going to be used as an excuse to NOT save the planet now???? Don't be fooled for one minute into thinking this decision is about "environmental concerns" over wildlife habitats.....ideology has no mercy for the well being of our actual environment.
@PeterWalls-kq6ye Says:
Yep, in france they shut one set down for killing thousands of birds. Plus there a near waste of space. Old bad tec.
@ing5088 Says:
Free energy technology existed and was removed and covered up. All this sustainable energy bullshit is just another scam. Demand nothing less than free energy technology. Tesla did it as have many others. The powers that be won’t allow us to have it because they have too much power and make too much money with things the way they are. Enough is enough.
@johnwoodrow8769 Says:
EVERY wind farm should be vetoed for environmental reasons. They are nothing more that glorified ugly graffiti on the landscape, both offshore and on land.
@deanhays6115 Says:
This was their idea in the first place Starting to worry a out votes 2025 election campaign has begun
@graemekeeley4497 Says:
Well that's a welcome bolt from the Blue from Tanya Plibersek blocking the Victorian Victorian Government's plan to build a huge offshore windfarm at Port of Hastings The decision has left the Victorian Government reeling in shock as this project was the first part of a key pillar in Victoria's renewables future to have 9GW of offshore wind energy generation capacity by 2040 Tanya Plibersek stressed strongly that the propssed wind farm would cause “irreversible damage to the habitat of waterbirds and migratory birds and marine invertebrates and fish” that were critical to the health of this wetland. The huge project would have seen the dredging of up to 92 hectares (227 acres) of prime wetlands to produce up one GW per year with each of the turbines producing up to 18 megawatts You have surprised us all Tanya Plibersek, but it is a very welcome decision, may we see more such decisions
@markjmaxwell9819 Says:
And Tanya was within her rights with a massive amount of coastline available. Trying to set up a facility in an environmentally sensitive area was not a good strategy with the idea of building our own turbines ridiculous. And offshore wind in the costliest and most labour intensive type of renewable with the most costly strategy a common theme with Victoria. Importing the turbines and building the bases and ancillary equipment in a different location makes sense with a pier located as close to the manufacturing facility as possible. 😎
@MelbourneHandyman Says:
Replaceables are a hoax
@johncorlett3699 Says:
its the factory that is canned, not tne windfarms. very ambiguous anouncement
@pookeyhutchison7838 Says:
If they had any brains the inefficient wind turbines should be banned everywhere in Australia.
@johnpickering8161 Says:
The plan was to assemble the units in Australia, not produce the components !,
@falseprofit4u Says:
It poses a risk to albanese getting votes, 😊 vetos for votes haaaaa
@chrismaher5506 Says:
Who'd have thunk destroying the environment to save it would be a bad idea......
@WeveGotBush Says:
What a eye sore a destruction to the environment.
@anomamos9095 Says:
Someone obviously didn’t get their cut
@dannyrault683 Says:
Hmmmm? Well. I never thought I'd see logic prevail from a politician, yet alone, a Labor one. Well? I guess I've learned something today. How do you fight a bad Green idea? You use their own Green ideology against them! That way, they have no come back! (Evil laugh)
@rosariodagosto6484 Says:
THE MINISTER MADE ANOTHER STUPID MISTAKE 😊😊😊
@shannonwright7857 Says:
Best news of the decade.... Stop this ridiculous wind turbine nonsense... it doesnt work, and does Absolutely nothing to help the return on its own carbon emissions, the actual construction and life span of these things has an actual negative effect for what it produces over its life... stop falling for bullshit W.E.F. de-population programs...
@stenkarasin2091 Says:
Finaly someone is actualy paying attention to the damage being done..

Renewable energy #TOTALLIE 😂😂😂😂 P.S WE WHO LIVE IN S.E DONT WANT THAT SHT HERE. FIX OUR FUCKIN ROADS AND OPEN HAZELWOOD POWER STATION AN FIX THE CLIMATE LIE!!!!!! #CRUPTMONEYGRABBUILTONLIES
@farangutan6773 Says:
Those wind turbines are horrible where ever they put them they destroy the natural beauty of the landscape or sea .
@evanangel2022 Says:
Piss this program off ASAP, stupid government and stupid victorians
@JohnWilliams-iw6oq Says:
This whole Labor government is a shambles, they are running in all directions at once. Perhaps Tanya could scrap Snowy 2 while she's about it, a $2B project that is now going to cost us $12B and expected to blow all the way out to $25B! That's $25,000,000,000 we have to pay out and God knows where it's coming from because we don't have it to give them.
@drkrypton4410 Says:
go for nuclear.
@Gavin-qh7li Says:
Thats ashame because that is in the best location for these Big Fans to cool climate boiling and give a nice afternoon sea breeze and it would save alot of electricity running air-conditioning. Just open your windows to have a sea breeze Not Cool
@speedymccreedy8785 Says:
But my Albo, aka Don Quixote, promised me windmills as far as the eye could see.
@troy6882 Says:
How about a company producing high super split pole core engineering on that super state neyodium gov miss something got a few we could do for a job kids test in build while you can't get a health care card to service providers while working windy on rights my my......kids YouTube show with neyodium super copper brake test x4 at max super state braking that was just the neyodium engineering.....
@andersdottir1111 Says:
Good.
@aaronaaron6569 Says:
She is gunning for Albo's job.😂😂😂
@rhyno1740 Says:
They don't care. Their new motto is " Let's destroy the environment, to save the environment ". Lol.
@Diponty Says:
Watch this space. I feel there is a change coming, and Australia will be a bit slow in the take up, but eventually maybe the next government will adopt this strategy before we destroy our land and sea. There will in the next few years and beyond, a sincere push for Nuclear energy. The COP28 meeting expressed a need to adopt nuclear as a reliable sustainable energy source. The host of the event UAE an oil producer of massive proportions, is actually building a plant to go with the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant it already operates. LOL Look at this... UAE signs deal with Bill Gates' nuclear company on advanced reactors. LOL That Bill Gates is behind this new nuclear push. Now watch the tide swing from solar and wind to Bill's new projects. 2030" Labor ahh we never said no nuclear we meant never until Bill gave us the nod.
@BobHawkeREAL Says:
Labor can't start its own party 😂 Almost like they're all talk 😊

@benhall6840 Says:
I bet China ends up with the contract
@jameswebb3716 Says:
You should reject this approach to an energy solution, it's not feasible on any circumstances. It's stupidity. 😡
@sharonryan4170 Says:
OMG...finally one of them starting to think like a grown up...
@barbq1976 Says:
never mind about Rain Forests being chopped down in Cape York either .. a Wind "farm" here - on land or at Sea ... a Massive mess of solar panels somewhere else. Someone needs to put together a List; a Plan, a Report, a Statement of Benefits vs Cost and Destruction these Eco-vandals are creating - for NO benefit to the environment.
@barbq1976 Says:
even Saint Bob Brown has said the "wind farm developers are Profiteering" from "climate change".
@garrygraham7901 Says:
She is still happy with offshore wind farms that slaughter endangered seabirds and threaten marine mammals. She just doesn't want to build them in her own backyard. Much better to export the job to China where the real pollution is out of sight. Don't believe that anything this govt does is for our benefit.
@Markhope-e3z Says:
First of all they are geo engineering the weather, so you're dependent on those windmills and solar power.
@ricky6864 Says:
Net zero only benefits politicians, china and "mates"
@BNOBLE981 Says:
So it has nothing to do with Victoria being broke and probably wanted the Federal government to fund the project.
@rhinoryno8410 Says:
Dumb as dog poop. Government has no idea
@margiecj4225 Says:
Nuclear power is the answer but the Labor Government backs stupidity😱
@robertfitchett-o6n Says:
Oh no, how are we going to power all the charging stations the ev's need. come on The Greens, blockade and protest, damn the wetlands, remember the end is nye. It's time we had a sensible debate about tackling climate change.
@Endlesspathable Says:
What ? True concerns for the environment vs. the career politician's zeitgeist of "man-caused global warming" psuedo-solutions?
@Diponty Says:
If you drill deeper (LOL) you will probably find it was an economic decision veiled in environmental concerns. All over the world planned wind farms are being ditched due to cost, and supply chain issues. Plus the public ain't onboard for the most part with bird choppers and whale wackers. Ørsted cancels two US offshore windfarm projects Equinor, BP cancel contract to sell offshore wind power Ark Energy says it has dropped plans to develop a small wind farm in north west Tasmania Offshore wind projects canceled in New Jersey
