How about Japan pays for it's gas from Australia? then they can potentially get involved with a military deal which they desperately need for their own national defence. We have no obligation to help them while they are blatantly stealing from us. Don't get me wrong I really like Japan and every single japanese person i've ever met with the exception of one. But don't you think it makes sense to block their inclusion in Aukus until they agree to compensate Australia properly for our gas?
