I decided to watch a Fox News video to step out of my echo chamber. I know bias exists everywhere, but this was beyond the pale.
They cut her off as soon as she started discussing her economic plans, then accused her of rambling when she explained the commonality of the issue and her strong feelings about it. They echo the inflation statistic that Trump loves, ignoring that the Biden Administration had little to do with the global inflation crisis, which was a direct result of the pandemic. The fact that inflation is around 2.4% now, compared to the global average of 5.9%, is an achievement.
I knew Fox was biased, but this is too much.
Also, can we stop pretending the Vice President has significant power? They are primarily a Senate tie-breaker unless the President dies. And let’s be clear, Trump is the reason there’s only one debate, not Kamala. He refused to participate in another.
Regarding gun control, Kamala Harris didn’t need to reveal she was a gun owner until her policies were exaggerated to the point where she had to defend herself. Supporting an assault weapon ban doesn’t mean she’s against gun ownership. I’m a strong Second Amendment supporter and have mixed feelings about the ban, but it doesn’t make Harris anti-Second Amendment for suggesting it.
I’m also tired of the rhetoric that people can’t change their positions. Trump has flipped on numerous issues, yet that’s acceptable?
