Hw about when they put a sticker over the original price that says on special, you look at the original price underneath, and it's exactly the same. 😂

Coles and Woolworths has contributed to the Price Gauging of drakes/ IGA and local small shops, keep increasing Price because they took advantage of Price Gauging of Coles / Woolworth.. As an example $6.50 an egg tray sold before Now selling @$18.00 but Government was enjoying increased GST..

The fact is that the products were discounted from the immediately preceding price. A reduction in price is a discount, is it not?

Pity they didn't put as much effort into the petrol pricing scams

Back in the 1990s, woolworths (not sure if it’s the same company, but it was a variety store) would mark their toy prices up 25% at Christmas time and advertise a sale for 25% off. I was a single mom of 3 small children. I had a list of toys I wanted to buy. The prices were the same everytime we would go shopping. I was excited about the sale, only to find out their sleazy business ways…this week’s sale price was the same as last week’s regular price. 😮

I am extremely disappointed with those supermarkets are becoming a very greedy, we have to buy a paper bag to put our groceries in and as soon as we put the groceries in falls a part. Why on the earth they stopped the plastic bags my life was easy, it is not going to make any difference to the climate change saga.

Numerous occasions in both Coles and Woolies, I have seen discounted price in aisle are different from whats in billing. Aisle prices would be less and while billing it would be higher. Later had to call customer support to correct same before payout. Please be mindful on prices shown in aisle and that what shown during billing!

Perhaps they should go after woolies slogan "the fresh food people ". Ive seen them deliver moldy and rotten food, friend had a home delivery..at least 3 products were rotten, and "fresh bakery" items were delivered frozen , rock solid. Its false advertising isnt it? All their fruit, veg etc sits at the distribution centres for ages before hitting the stores

Not good news for BNP Paribas Noms Pty Ltd who owns a majority of shares, in both companies supporting an oligarch structure. Albo should bail them out.
