News in the U.S.A. is not news. The media is a bad joke. 40% of the FEMA budget was spent on the covid pandemic that ended almost 2 years ago. Where did that money go. Not for covid. FEMA was given hundreds of millions of dollars to house illegals and undocumented. But no one seems to know where they were housed after the storms. A person team leader was fired for not helping known republican's storm victims. No other people are known to have lost their job. It is under investigation. FEMA is broken and needs more funds as it can't handle another storm. I can see why. The news outlets can't report on it.

Hush money is not a real thing in the laws, but the media/news still report it that way. It is blackmail money paid when a person is being blackmailed. Calling blackmail hush money is sick. New name doesn't change that it is crime.

*Paying blackmail money and being a victim. Then the normal move of hiding the payment is a crime and a felony. This sets up the common people to be victim and going to jail for it. Blackmail - just call it hush money that is not a crime. There is no law that applies to it - it is a new form of employment.
