Glad someone is addressing this. The huge rise in migration over last few years directly caused the housing shortage. I think incentivising Mums, Dads and small businesses and reducing property profiteering is also essential. Wage /mortgage debt for life for a home is unacceptable. Also, we may have more skilled workers with better support for young people to study/learn a trade. Most of the young people i know cannot afford to study, they are working often 2 jobs just to pay bills. Also, Australians are choosing not to have kids due to the impossible cost of living. Bringing in migrants who will work for less $ and send fortunes back to their families out of the country is really going backwards for Australians. Im all for diversity, but not for Aussies to become a poor minority in their own country.
