Prime Minister Anthony Albanese gave a ludicrous answer when asked why his government is scrapping the cashless debit card, Sky News host Andrew Bolt said.
Mr Bolt said Mr Albanese's answer showed he was more horrified by someone on the cashless debit card having a "profit motive" than the welfare money being spent on booze while children go hungry.
"That answer tells you so much about this government � ideology first, reality second," Mr Bolt said.
