As a recently retired RN with my final position in Aged Care EVERY ASPECT of ‘Aged Care’ in Nursing Homes is broken. I understand the system from front to back over years of experience and it’s based on lies and deceit with very little common sense. People are very realistic in dreading the future in Nursing Homes. Most of the very experienced RN’s are now gone. These held these places together with untold numbers of UNPAID hours of overtime to maintain some basic level of quality care.
