Sky News Queensland Editor Peter Gleeson says it's clear the Palaszczuk government has finally acknowledged it must live with the virus.
Fully vaccinated people in Queensland will have new freedoms when it reaches the 80 per cent level.
'What a difference eight weeks makes,' Mr Gleeson told Sky News Australia.
'From December 17 it's a free for all.'
