The odds of another wet spring and summer are looking more probable for Australians after the Bureau of Meteorology issued an alert warning of another La Nina weather event.
The BOM issued the alert on Tuesday, declaring there was a 70 per cent chance or three times the normal likelihood of La Nina forming in 2022.
It will be the first time Australia has had three La Nina's and two negative IODs back-to-back since records began in 1900.
