It has been pointed out that this poll's cross tabs show that the incumbent is leading due to being ahead of his predecessor with rural voters.
DJT won 98% of rural counties in 2020, so I'm more inclined to believe that the methodology in this poll is off rather than the current president is leading.
However, if anyone can explain how it would be plausible that he can lead with rural voters, I'm all ears.
