Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek says the Greens are 'welcome' to make submissions on the government's plan to upgrade environment laws.
Ms Plibersek said it is important to update the current environment legislation.
'We've got a mapped-out plan to do that,' she told Sky News Australia.
'The Greens are welcome to make submissions on what those laws should look like.'
